CCR and up&up enter into new partnership

The Center for Corporate Reporting (CCR), the leading competence center for corporate reporting in the DACH region, and the Zurich-based agency up&up, which specialises in strategic brand and corporate communication, are continuing their successful collaboration. As a result, up&up will remain the branding agency responsible for CCR’s visual and strategic presence.

Both corporate and sustainability reporting are subject to constant change — whether due to evolving stakeholder expectations or new regulatory requirements such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). Today, companies must report not only on financial or legal matters but also transparently on environmental and social issues. In this context, a company’s strategic orientation is more important than ever for effective communication.

The combined expertise in reporting, strategy, communication, and design enables up&up to deliver integrated solutions for our clients that go beyond traditional reporting.

“This is precisely where we see the great added value in the partnership and the associated knowledge transfer with the CCR,” says Christoph Schmidt, Managing Partner and CEO of up&up. “The combined expertise in reporting, strategy, communication, and design enables up&up to develop integrated solutions for our clients that go beyond traditional reporting. Reporting is no longer merely a compliance document, but a strategic communication tool with impact both internally and externally.”

Reto Schneider, founder and Co-CEO of the CCR, also emphasises the importance of strategic communication in corporate reporting: “The current reporting landscape, shaped by regulatory requirements, calls for a professional dialogue with stakeholders in order to ensure transparency and a continuous dialogue and to communicate complex matters in a way that is tailored to the target audience. We value up&up as an innovative agency and a key player in the current discussion around the evolution of reporting, which serves as the foundation for consistent and impactful stakeholder communication.”

According to Noelia Blanco, Managing Partner and COO of up&up, the collaboration will focus on the following key areas:

  • Ongoing exchange on market developments as well as access to know-how and experts;
  • Dialogue on trends, regulatory developments, and technological innovations;
  • The conceptual design and further development of the CCR brand as well as the Reporting Times;
  • And the active co-creation of the annual Corporate Reporting Symposium and other formats.

“We look forward to many inspiring years of collaboration – both professionally and personally, this partnership is of great value to us,” Blanco concludes.
